Trash Can Be Tricky


Some of you may have been aware of our desire to implement a single trash company for our entire neighborhood. This change would have several benefits: one day of trash pickup instead of four, fewer giant, loud trucks on our streets, and a guaranteed cheaper trash bill for everyone!

Our Bylaws have made this change a little tricky. We need to hold an official meeting and get an official vote on the books to make this change. That means we need a quorum and a certain number of votes to make it all possible. Instead of trying to throw all of this together at the end of the year during the holiday season, we decided to wait and do it in a manner where we can hopefully get everyone on board, schedule a meeting where many if not most are able to attend and then get all of the information to you in a way that makes this all a smooth transition.

So bear with us! It will be a change for the better – just not one we’re making this 2020 calendar year. We’ll keep you up to speed!
